Well I appreciate it, the bird poop and hungry cats notwithstanding. I've just always been fond of that pun, for some reason.

There are good puns?

I was paying you a compliment, albeit an obtuse one. A bad pun is like a bird in flight: it drops poop all over the place and cats chase it.

I'm not sure what that means, Ben. But, then, I'm not sure I know what my little post means either.

Either way, good to have you back. As for the rest of you...helllooo?

Man. rock and/or roll.

I been away for mostly a week 'cause'a computer issues. They's fixed and happy again. It's nice. It's like having a friend back from the hospital.
Point is, I'll be postin' again soon.

Or maybe not.

Thursday, June 17, 2004

Two posts in one day. If I'm not careful, pretty soon I'm going to be completely caught up.

Tuesday, June 15, 2004

Okay, so now I'm only three two days behind.

This might be easier if I knew where it was going, but it probably wouldn't be half as much fun.

Woo, I've just read it all and am eagerly awaiting the next bit. There's a good mystery brewing here, between the dead man and our newest arrival.

Sharon, thanks for catching that. And golly, 16 pages? Just imagine if I knew where this story was going!

Fred, in your story, the link for the 10th part has been pointing to the wrong section. Here's the correct link, and I'll fix it in the 11th and 12th sections.

To amuse myself, I've pulled all the sections into one document (16 pages at the moment). I still need to add your italics back in, but I'll share it with you when it's ready.

Naw, Faith, that's one of the new features of Blogger. I told you it was sexy.

There's a new topic out there for Friday, but I won't have internet access tomorrow so it's future-dated. Someone mind publishing for me in the morning? Thanks!

Ben, thanks. I'm still running a day behind, but your topic finally let me move the plot along.

Tuesday, June 08, 2004

Then just you wait. I'll give you an easy one tomorrow.

I'm really trying to tie my story in to the daily topics -- it wouldn't have existed at all in my head if you hadn't suggested "Memphis" three weeks ago -- but it's mighty tough when you turn around and also suggest topics like "Nimbletharp Squingehammer".

Not that I'm complaining or anything.

I like the character more than the story, really. I'm amused by an eloquent barbarian who can't use complete sentences and his rescued princess.

I'm here, Ben. I'm starting to think all my posts are just desperate pleas for attention.

I like your new continuing story. Do you have any idea where yours is going? (I haven't really advanced the plot of mine any in a couple of posts.)

Is anybody there? I'm moments away from a desperate plea for attention.

Yeah, my post today doesn't have much to do with Nimbletharp, nor particularly with Squingehammer. You gets what you pays for.

Ba da ba ba ba. I'm vaguely ill.

To which he replied, "Splorf!"
